Call me Nita.
I’m a writer who dreams of one day seeing her novels on bookstore shelves.
I’m an artist… the kind who loves shaping sourdough loaves, arranging picture frames on a wall, and is practicing to someday be worthy of a baby grand piano.
I’m a traditional midwife in training. For now, something between a doula, an assistant, and just a girl who loves babies and loves caring for new moms.
As of the last year, I am now a wife. I found the man I want to spend forever with, and now it’s all I can do to keep up with laundry, dishes, meals, and trying to figure out how health insurance works.
Maybe because I would rather spend my time riding in the buddy seat of a tractor, studying herbs and natural remedies, going for walks with a friend, or digging through the back of a thrift store for hidden treasures.
This little blog is just for fun. An outlet for my thoughts and a little something creative for the afternoons when I want to curl up on the couch and pretend like my only responsibility is drinking tea and letting my imagination run wild. I’ll share my favorite recipes, life hacks I’m loving, thrifted house decor and gift ideas, herbal concoctions I’m trying, and thoughts on learning to be a wife and woman after God’s heart.
I can’t wait to get started!
